We have isolated a Bacillus from soil enriched with filter paper.The bacillus is gram+ve,aerobic,motile,sporulating with central endospore,showing swarming growth on nutrient agar.It is cellulolytic which is evident in the picture showing a zone of clearance around the swarming colony.
This organism is peculiar showing pinkish pigmentation in the centre of the colony and has liquid droplet kind of growth at the periphery.
